Local Television Host Wins Award for Literary Talk Show.

Author and Host of the literary and entertainment talk show Wordz in Motion wins award and is dubbed ‘Detroit’s Queen Literary Advocate’ for self publishers.

Detroit, MI. August 28, 2006 - Sheri Clark Brooks always knew she would write books and be on television, but she never thought she would win an award or be promoting others’ endeavors. That changed last month at the Community Broadcast Awards, when Ms. Brooks, the author of Her Alabaster Box, received an award for her TV show Wordz in Motion, a literary and entertainment talk show that focuses mainly on self published authors and the independent music artist.

Ms. Brooks’ show, which is original and refreshing, offers an opportunity for authors, aspiring writers, independent music artist and literacy advocates to come on and showcase or discuss their book, cd or service. Wordz in Motion, which started a year ago, also hosts other guests that are of interest to the viewing audience, such as national recording artists, book clubs, bestselling authors and poets.

As an avid reader, vice president of a book club and advocate for literacy, Ms. Brooks and her writing group- Metro Detroit Literary Collective along with Corporation for Artistic Development also host Detroit’s Annual Writer’s Conference and Awards Gala. The event is a weekend of networking, education and celebration. Because of her diligence in the industry, dedication to uplifting other authors and artists and her work in the fight against illiteracy, she has now been dubbed Detroit’s Queen Literary Advocate.

The Community Broadcast Awards Banquet, held in Detroit’s New Center Area at the St. Regis Hotel this past month, is an annual event hosted by WHPR -TV 33. The event highlights the efforts of television programs that showcase a variety of topics including economical, social, political and educational themes. The event also presents awards to a winner in selected categories.

Wordz in Motion airs live every Saturday at 8:30 p.m. on TV 33 and Comcast 20. For more information visit www.dynastypublications.com

PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(8/9/2006) Men''s wear For a Breast Cancer Research

New Men''s wear Collection: Mable Grahm, Donates a Portion of Sales to Breast Cancer Research

New York, New York, August 8th, 2006- Launching on September 7, 2006- Men''s wear collection Mable Grahm has earmarked 5% of the revenue generated from the Spring/Summer 2007 sales to be donated to Breast Cancer Research. Rich in history the Mable Grahm collection embodies a classic metropolitan chic flavor that has been absent from the men''s wear scene. Offering streamlined silhouettes steeped in scrumptious details the collection elevates any wardrobe.

Find details such as bold satin trims, the designer’s self portraits turned graphic appliqués, textures such as pin tucks and rauching and ultra lush fabrics washed for the perfect hand feel.

Taking the wearer from day to night, office to casual and basic to extraordinary- the collection is ambitious with accessories and all the finishing touches necessary for today’s trend setting man.

After a hiatus from fashion for over 2 years designer Rita Renee expressed that “ I have been inspired to pursue a higher level of design. Combining my passion for fashion and my dedication to finding a cure for Breast Cancer was an obvious choice. After being effected by the devastation that this disease can cause- my Grandmother (the collection’s namesake) is a survivor but it has been a long road to regaining a sense of normalcy in my family and if I can help in any way to help others avoid this experience I would be elated. Mable Grahm is inspiration and we look forward to showcasing our new line”
